Same thing I am having, turned everything off, and still shows fan running on app, while it is not running. A little annoying

Went to thermostat and disabled fan. Only runs when a/c comes on. Icon is gone. I can turn on fan alone manually

fan icon is on nest app but fan is not running, fan settings are all off. My other nest thermostat fan icon is off

How can this be fixed? Fan symbol shows it running but there is no fan running and no sound of a fan running. Apple app tried to make sure it was off on the wall unit as well. Frustrating.

Hello BDale,

I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're having on the Nest App. It appears that the Nest App is not synchronizing with your Nest Thermostat.

Give these steps a try:

Uninstall and reinstall the Nest App.
Restart your phone for a minute.
Restart your Nest Thermostat device itself.
Sign in with the same email account on the Nest App.
Select your Nest Thermostat, check if the fan icon disappears.

Let see how it goes.
