Hi
ive recently been monitoring my energy usage more closely for obvious reasons.
just been away on holiday for two weeks and turned all heating and hot water off. The best app clearly showed the hot water was “off”.
When I got home the water in the tank was hot. The hot water has been coming on every other day even though the nest was turned off. my smart meter shows that I’ve been using 6kw of gas every other day , which would equate to the amount needed to heat the hot water.
how do I stop this from happening. I really do t want the hot water to be heated when I’m away from the house and the nest is turned off.
any thoughts from anyone ?
thanks in advance

Thanks very much.
had no idea there was such a thing.
I checked and it was activated , so it ties in exactly with my water being heated every 48hrs or so.
thanks again
