Google nest app disconnects

My apple nest app works and then over time it stops connecting and I have to reinstall the app to make it work again, is there something I can do to stop this happening? If I access via a web browser on my google home it always works but that ms not very convenient!

I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused you by repeatedly disconnecting you from the Nest App..— let's see what's going on.

Please try these steps:

Try clearing the cache and data of your Nest app, then reinstalling it again.
Check for any available software updates on your phone.
Reboot your phone for at least 3 minutes.
Try using different devices, such as tablets or other mobile phones to observe.
Install the Nest App and Sign in with the same email account.

Let us know how it goes, or if the issue still persist.

thanks, I have done all of the above except clearing the cache as I didn’t have that option. Was that on the iPhone settings or the app settings?
