Nest heat link

Hi,

Was wondering if someone could help me please?

I have nest thermostat and heat link to control our hot water. All seems to be connected correctly, no warning/fault messages. All lights on heat link seem to be fine (solid green) and have tried a complete reset.

So when I turn on the hot water using the app or thermostat it’s not heating the water. I can hear the heat link click and boiler fire up but the rising bubbles in the bg of the app don’t turn red like they used to?

I thought the heat link might be dead but all lights are ok & it’s connected fine. The only way I can get it to work is to manually set the motorised valve to open and then turn on the nest? I’ve even replaced the motorised valve.

I’m honestly at a loss as to what the issue is?
