Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry. I'd be happy to take a look into this for you.

In most cases, Google Nest thermostats can charge their built-in battery using your heating and cooling wires. But there are situations where they may need to connect the Nest Power Connector or a common or C wire to consistently deliver power to their thermostat.

To make sure your system is compatible with Nest, do you mind if I ask for a picture of your current thermostat showing the wiring diagram? Also, could you tell us the make and model of your HVAC system?
