      <title>Power outage</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We had an extended power outage(14 hrs) we are away on holiday and the nest thermostat is showing as offline. All our there devices have rejoined our network. Can I reset the nest remotely?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Thanks for reaching out. I'm afraid that we don't have an option to reset the Nest Thermostat remotely. It's possible that the internal battery of your Nest Thermostat was drained during the power outage. The battery should recharge until it gets to the required level to get it connected to your Wifi.&lt;/P&gt;
