Nest Compatibilty Check

I wanted to see if I can use Nest for my In-floor radiant heating. When I take my thermostat off, it has a 120/240v module and then a 24v face unit. Will Nest work for the 24v face unit?

Thanks for reaching out. I'd be happy to take a look into this for you.

High voltage systems typically have a thermostat that is labeled 120 V or 240 V. High-voltage systems, such as electric baseboard heaters, aren’t compatible with Nest thermostats. In some cases, it’s possible that your system can be made Nest thermostat-compatible. Contact a local pro and have them install a step-down transformer to 20–30 V.

Thank you for replying back. I need to setup an appointment with an electrician. But reading the manual, it says that my thermostat does have a transformer

If you do have a transformer, the HVAC professional should be able to set up the device for you as well, and ensure everything is working properly.
