Dial won’t work in nest thermostat

The dial will no longer turn in my nest e learning , I can only click it but can’t adjust the temperature or find the code to add it to my wifi. Is this fixable or do I need to buy a new , non google thermostat ?

If you can't turn the ring, then you'll have to replace the display. Check the warranty of the device to see if Google can replace it.

First of all, why did the nest loose it’s WiFi setup? Are you saying the ring rotates but he screen does not respond?

I wanted to stop by and see how I could help, and thanks to everyone for the assistance.

@Kpeter04, I wanted to make sure that you'd seen their response. Could you please try this step? Tap and hold the thermostat screen for 10 seconds until it shuts down to restart.
