Compressor cycles off then kicks right back on.

I have the 3rd Gen thermostat with a sensor connected to it.

I'm having a major issue with the AC compressor/condensor cycle off and while the fan system is still circulating to cycle off the compressor/condensor kicks right back on. This happens a few times during the day and night. I'm sure this will evenuatly damage my sytem if I let this continue. The system does work fine when it cycles correctly.

This Learning thermostat is pathetic with constant issues!!!! This is the second major issue with this learning thermostat. The other issue I had in the community questions was not being able to keep it in manual mode, Now this issue pops up.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I figured they’re would be other people with the same issue. They have no answers to fix this. I have a second unit and purchased the new Google non learning and no issues with compressor recycling. The only thing is they didn’t design it to control room sensors which is stupid.

What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?
How is your Nest Thermostat wired?
What is the power reading of your Nest Thermostat? You can find this info by going to Settings > Technical Info > Power.
