Google nest controlling a smart plug.

I was wondering if it was possible when the Google nest thermostat starts the furnace, can it also tell a smart plug to turn on and then when the furnace stops the smart plug would turn off also?

We hear you, @scottsee. We're always looking for ways to improve, and we appreciate your feedback. Nest Thermostats don't have the capability to control smart devices, but you can try using the Google Home App to link and control your smart plugs in a different way by setting up a routine with your Nest Thermostat.
