Nest thermostat Battery not charging

Moved into a home with a nest learning thermostat. The battery won’t charge. From what I have read needs a C wire. There isn’t one 😵‍💫. Tried charging with the usb but doesn’t seem to work, can’t get a full charge , still low battery. How long should it take??? The thermostat can’t be more than 2-3 years old. What can I do?

I'm sorry to hear that your thermostat isn't holding its charge. I'm happy to help.

To isolate, could you tell us the make and model of your HVAC system? Do you have a heat pump unit? Also, please gather the power readouts under power from the technical info settings.
