So just recently started having an issue where the heat will kick on for a while but then start blowing cold air. Only will start blowing heat again if I unplug and plug it back in. Sometimes it'll work all day and other times I have to unplug it multiple times a day. I'm guessing it's wired wrong but this is how my friend set it up so I'm unsure if it was done correctly. Any help or any other way I can troubleshoot would be appreciated. If any other information is needed let me know, and how to get the information. Thank you.

Hi Sondo,

Thanks for posting.

A few questions: when did you install this thermostat? Also, could you check if you have set a schedule on your Nest Thermostat?

Best,

Mel

Hello folks,

I wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Thanks for assisting, Mel.

@Sondo, It might have been configured incorrectly based on the issue you're experiencing. Let's sort this out.

To isolate, do you still have the picture of your previous thermostat wiring diagram? Also, please check the fuel type selected in its settings in the Google Home app. If it's incorrect, select the right type.

I'll look forward to your response.

Best regards,

Mark
