Nest thermostat 3rd gen only heating in test mode

Hello!

I installed my thermostat today and ran it on test mode and it worked perfectly. But when I try and turn the heat on with the phone app or thermostat (not hard wired) the heat doesn't come on. Does anyone have any suggestions?

you need to supply a little more information in order to get a good understanding and how we can help you. For example, what its the current HVAC system configuration that is to say do you have a conventional air conditioner with a gas, furnace, or a heat pump with auxiliary heating of some sort. How about posting a picture of the old thermostat and its wiring and the Nest Thermostat and is wiring.
