Temperature overreading

Looking for some help our thermostat which has started to overread the temperature. All appears fine on the software and linked correctly but is reading temperature at a constant 25 degrees. When the temperature in the room is considerably lower. I've tried turning on and off. Any pointers.

Boiler and system was installed 12 months ago and has been working fine up to this point.

I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused you — let's see what's going on.

To isolate:

What type of Nest thermostat do you have?
Where did you install your thermostat? (in a room and on a wall or stand)
When did the issue start?
How big is the difference between the readout of the Nest Thermostat and your thermometer or other thermostats?
Do you have a room thermometer?
- Take a photo of the thermometer next to the Nest Thermostat.
Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?
- Would you mind listing them?
Please gather the Signal strength value from your thermostat device.
- Go to Settings > Technical Info > Network.

Hi Mark,

To answer your questions in order.

It's a Nest Learning Thermostat
Wall mounted in the dining room. Center of the house.
Issue since fitting. Not noticed using heating in winter time.
3/4 degree difference between testing thermostat.
Have tried obvious turn on/off.
Unable to locate network under technical information.

Thanks for the details. I appreciate your effort. Let's try these steps:

Enable the sunblock.
1. Go to Settings > Nest Sense > Sunblock.
Is your thermostat near any heat sources (such as air vents that direct warm air, appliances, electrical outlets, or other potential heat sources) why the thermostat shows a higher temperature than normal? Then, advise the customer to relocate the thermostat if it's possible.
Cover the wall with a duct seal compound.

I have moved the thermostat as suggestedans will report back in a couple of days.
