Nest Thermostat Offline

Nest app reports thermostat as Offline. However, thermostat displays connection to wifi. I've updated the nest app, Uninstaller and reinstalled the device from my app, and factory reset. Nothing works. The thermostat is connected and runs efficiently when controlled directly but does not stay connected within the app. Wifi speed and signal was also tested with no issues. It appears to be a Nest App issue.

I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused you, and I appreciate all the steps you have taken. Let's see what's going on.

I found a helpful article with some troubleshooting steps for when your thermostat is showing "offline." Please let me know if that helps or if the issue still persists.
