How can I download the history of my Nest thermostat?

I want to download a history of my Nest thermostat. I see the history on the thermo gives me like seven days.

I would like to download months or years.

Is this doable?

thank you for the reply. yes, i saw your response. first time i tried the export it failed. i just tried to run another one.

i initiated the download. google is supposed to email me when its ready.

No, I initiated a download twice and I got a email from Google that said it failed.

Any ideas?

It appears its not an instant download. It says Google will email you when its ready. Have you tried to do a download?

I was able to but that was a year ago and yes, it took me a few days. The duration depends on how big the data you're downloading as well as the speed of your internet connection.

yes, but I am not sure how to read it.

Can you help?

I want to see date and time stamp that shows what time the air/heat went on and when it went off etc.

Is this feasible?

Try retrieving your historical data from your nest here. Make sure to sign in with the same email account associated with your Nest Thermostat.

Thanks for getting back. Let's find out more about retrieving your Nest data.

How was it? Were you able to download your Nest data history from the Google Takeout link? Also, Once you have fully extracted your archive, some file types (such as html and png) will be visible in your browser and show as clickable links that will open the file. Check this link for more.
