Geofence Audible Notification

I have two Nest thermostats in use managed by the Google Home app. My Home and Away routines work except that I no longer receive an audible notification on my Android phone indicating I have traveled outside the geofence area. I do receive notifications from other apps. I have checked my phone settings and don't see any problems. If I go to Settings > Apps and Notifications > Home it shows zero notifications. So, it looks like to me the Home app is not sending notifications? Thank you in advance for your help.
