Error E257 - I have 4 wires - red, green, white and blue - no yellow.

I am getting error E257. I only have red, green, white and blue - no yellow. I plugged the blue into the C receptical.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for reaching out and for sharing this information. A few questions: who installed your Nest Thermostat? How long do you have it?

Give these steps a try:

Reseat the wires.
Remove your Nest Thermostat from your Google Home App.
Reset your Nest Thermostat to the factory default.

Hi - the issue is resolved. An HVAC person had to do some rewiring. Thanks for the follow up.
