R and W wire compatability?

Am I able to chime in here? You guys are god-sends, working out all the detailed Heating / Nest problems. So this is my wiring system. And this is my heating system. Which nest will work for this? Both, or just the fancier one?

You have a basic heating system. The basic Nest thermostat will handle this system. Since you have no Common wire present, you will NOT choose they Nest Learning Thermostat. The basic nest that uses AA batteries will be sufficient.
