I just installed a new nest learning thermostat. When running AC, the cooling will not kick on. The Fan works when cooling is on and when just fan is on but the air does not cool down when cooling is on.

Did you get this resolved? IU have the same exact issue and the same wiring. I had the red in the Rc and moved to Rh to see if that made a difference and got a message that the Rc was missing so I switched it back.

Hey Ckquestions, LakelandLady,

Apologies for the delayed reply. Having cooling issues is never an enjoyable time. Do you mind me asking if you are running into any error codes on your device or the app? I did find an article with some troubleshooting steps for strange heating/cooling behaviors. Please let me know if that helps out, or if the issue is still present.

Best regards,

The article did not help me. My issue was that my "furnace" is a "heat pump" and the wire clearly labeled as AUX E goes into W1.
