Nest Learning thermostat won't power up after first installation

Today I installed Nest Learning thermostat with three wires namely Rh, G and W. We need only heating and fan control.

After installation the thermostat won't power up, no flashing lights, no error messages.

I checked the wires for proper installation and switched the breaker off and back on. While I'll try charging the thermostat outside using micro USB, I'll appreciate if someone had similar experience and can help me.

What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?
What type of HVAC system do you have?
What is the power reading of your Nest Thermostat? You can find this information by going to Settings > Technical Info > Power.
