I tried to continue email chat by replying to the email thread, but received an undeliverable message instead.

All in all, when in ECO mode, is energy consumption the same whatever thetemperature is set at? Eg 16C compared to 18C?

Energy consumption depends on the temperature it is set to when it's in Eco Mode. Check this link for more details.
