Heat will not come on it just blows cold air!

Was it working before or is this a new Nest install?

If the nest is showing temp setting in Orange and trying to turn on the heat, then you might need to call a HVAC company to diagnose the problem.

It probably has nothing to do with the Nest if it is turning on the fan and might be a furnace issue.

I had the same issue yesterday. Told the app I had a wire, (that wasn't used on my old thermostat), and it didn't work.

I had to use only the wires previously used. Now it works.
