Variable speed fan Bryant +80W

I’m have installed a nest Model 1.4 learning thermostat on my gas fired Variable Speed Bryant forced air unit. The fan seems to only run on turbo speed. Is there a setting to allow the variable speed option to work? I’m only running heat now for a couple of hours in the morning time. Could it be that the temperature in my home never gets a chance to balance out during the two hour morning run time so it just runs turbo speed?

The fan speed is control by the Furnace Integrated Control board. If however, the thermostat sends a call for heat and a call for the blower at the same time, the variable speed control is overridden. Make sure in your thermostat settings that the Blower, the G wire, is not activated on a heating call.

If you have plugged a wire to the OB, you need to set the setting of that wire. Tap the OB and define its function.

You have a 2-stage heating system and the Brown wire is connected to W2 in your furnace control board. You need to define the O/B as state 2 Heat.
