Nest Gen 3 Thermostat

I am installing a Nest Gen 3 and after entering the Entry Key into my phone, the app shows trying to add the Nest Thermostat and not the Nest Learning Thermostat. Of course it will work and tells me to check my Wi-Fi and there is no problem with that. Hop do I get it added to the Nest app?

To confirm, which model of thermostat do you have?

How to tell which Nest thermostat you have - Google Nest Help

Nest Thermostat must be setup using the Google Home app. All other models must be setup using the Nest app.
