I've had 3 different Nest Thermostat units. All of them work fine out of the box and connect to the wifi with no problem. They've all worked fine for some amount of time and then randomly lose their connection to my wifi. They won't reconnect or even find my wifi network. The Nest is the ONLY device (out of dozens) in my house that won't stay connected to the wifi. There are several articles online outlining this issue. Each time, I contact Nest support and they walk me through a series of checks / procedures - standard things like restart the nest, reset the nest, restart the router, remove and re-add the device on the app, check wifi / router settings, etc. - all basic stuff, none of which fixes the issue. Their only response is to send me another thermostat. After dealing with this for over a year and several replacement devices, I asked them to instead issue me a refund, which they won't do. So today, I now have my 4th replacement on the way. I can't believe there is no refund policy after all of this. 4th times a charm, Google?
