Nest keeps going rouge

Nest keeps switching the heating on in the middle of the night! When it’s set to a low temperature.

This is happening to me as well. My sleep setting is not to exceed 75 degrees yet every night at 4am the thermostat goes on and is set to 80 degrees. For the past 3 weeks since getting this device I wake up because it's so hot and manually turn the heat back down to 75 through the home app.

Yep we're in the same situation. Nest is determined not to follow my schedule at all but is instead behaving like a night storage heater so the house is too hot whilst you're in bed but freezing during the early evening when you most need it. I regret ever having bought a Nest. It's actually using the heating for more than the 3 hrs per day I have my times set for on the schedule so not saving me money at all. 😞

okay I worked it out, go in the cog wheel in the top life hand corner of the screen, and reset the list of activities, nest sense

home /away off

auto schedule off

time to temp ready

true radiant off

sun block on ready

leaf ready

i change mine to these setting and it works now, don’t know why but it works.

okay I worked it out, go in the cog wheel in the top life hand corner of the screen, and reset the list of activities, nest sense

home /away off

auto schedule off

time to temp ready

true radiant off

sun block on ready

leaf ready

i change mine to these setting and it works now, don’t know why but it works.

I'm trying the suggested fix and will let you know after a few nights. We had one night where the thermostat did not go rogue since last week. Otherwise every morning at around 4:30 or 5:00am the heat goes beyond our setting.

No such luck. Heat came on at 4:30am 3 degrees above the scheduled 'comfort' setting. I took screenshots of everything in case there is a way to share.
