Can anyone tell me - based on this picture - whether the Nest Home Thermostat will work with this heat/air system? Thank you.

This is a heat pump with 2 stages of electric backup heat correct?

Or do you have a gas furnace backup heat and electric coils?

You will need the Nest Learning model for this system.

Red to Rc

Orange to OB

Yellow to Y1

Green to G

Blue to C

(can't tell color of X2) to W2 (stage 2 heat coils ,or a gas furnace)

White to W1 (stage 1 heat coils aux heat)

Do not use S1 S2 tape off and push back out of the way they are for outdoor temp sensor not used by the Nest.
