Can change heat source

I had to restart my nest do to change in internet. I can’t get it to change to gas it’s set on electric.

Factory reset the thermostat so that you can select electric.

Hi there,

@Sbl5651, I saw your post and wanted to chime in — I'd love to help.

You can follow the steps here on how to change your systems' heat type.

For the Nest Learning Thermostat and the Nest Thermostat E. Go to settings, then look for the "equipment", select "continue" twice and choose heat type. You can change it from electric to gas.
For the Nest Thermostat 2020. Go to the Google Home app then select your thermostat tile and go to settings. After that, look for equipment then heat type. You can also do a factory reset instead.
