Hi Edward

We're still learning how our nest works. We’ve turned off auto learning and the radiant thingy and we’re keeping an eye on the history. We’re disappointed that there isn’t the option to turn the heating ‘off’ at night (except for the safety temperature) especially at a time when we are all worried about our electricity bills. Our old system was much more user friendly and simple! We thought the Nest system would be better!

What does the system heat up to when it goes below the safety temperature? It seems to go all the way up to what we’ve set it to come on in he morning. Surely it should just warm up til it is above the safety temp?

Hi Lettiewiggins,

Thanks for reaching out. Your system should heat up to the safety temperature that you set. You can click on this link to learn more about this.

Thanks,

Hi Jake

its still not behaving! It doesn’t always turn down when we all leave the house. I’ll keep an eye on it over the next couple of days and check the history.

thanks

Arlette
