    <description>&lt;P&gt;You would be better off running a new 5 conductor thermostat cable to the nest and then use blue for the C wire. Do you have a C terminal at the pellet stove?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The smart thermostats all require a C wire to provide stable power to keep the battery charging and the wifi connected.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You still need a C terminal at the stove for the adapter to connect to the common of the transformer.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, you can. I would use the Google Nest Thermostat and you will need to use the Google Nest Power Connector with an external 24Vac transformer.&lt;/P&gt;
