Hello gjorge1394,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry. I'd be happy to take a look into this for you.

To isolate:

When was the thermostat installed?

Where did you install your thermostat? (in a room and on a wall or stand)

Do you have other active Nest Thermostats? Do they show the same issue?

Is your thermostat installed near heat sources? (Air vents, appliances, electrical outlets, and other potential heat sources)

Please gather the Signal strength value from your actual thermostat.

Go to Settings > Technical Info > Network.

Please try these steps:

Restart your thermostat.

Turn on Sunblock.

Go to Settings > Nest Sense > Sunblock.

Cover the wall with a duct seal compound at the location where the thermostat is installed to close the penetration in the wall and serve as an insulator.

Disconnect your thermostat to your Wi-Fi network for 24 hours to monitor the ambient temperature.

Go to Settings > Reset > Network.

Please let me know if that helps, or if the issue still persists.

Regards,

Mark
