Cannot connect temperature sensor due to nest service connectivity

I accidentally deleted my Home inside the Google Home app, so I factory reset my thermostat, created a new google home, and reconnected the thermostat to the home.

However, when I try and reconnect my temperature sensor to my nest thermostat, the following error occurs. I tried deleting the Nest app and reinstalling it, restarting my phone, factory resetting the thermostat, pulling the battery out of the nest temperature sensor. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

This actually started working the next day. Was probably a temporary outage.
