Power Connector shortout?

Last winter we professionally installed a power connector for my Nest Thermostat, but while it's been working since last winter, it appears to now return No Power.

I did recently change the wifi, etc. I've changed the batteries 5x, so that can't be it. The app also suggest is doesn't read the Red and White connected wires. Could it be that the Power Connector blew and a placement is needed?

Check if your furnace power switch and breaker is on. It gets the power from the transformer in the furnace or boiler. If main power is on then you would need a multimeter (you can buy an inexpensive one at harbor frieght tools or home depot etc) set it to test for AC volts and test for power on the Red and White wires at the furnace system wires. If nothing then maybe the transformer is bad or some other problem and you would need a HVAC tech to diagnose the problem unless you are handy and want to try and replace parts.

Thanks for checking, @aatienza. I think I'm good, as I went ahead and completely removed. It's too unpredictable, required change of battery too often, as well as to switch the transformer again. Thanks again for trying. But, I'm not confident in this product to keep my family safe and warm during the cold winter months.
