Schedule not changing in line with clocks going back on hour

In the UK the clocks went forward a couple of days ago. My NEST, however, is starting one hour earlier than it should, which means it has not adapted to the change of time. It starts at 5.00am, for example, when it should now begin at 6.00am.

The time on the thermostat is correct. It changed automatically. My phone and PC have both changed automatically. The problem is that the schedule has not altered to accommodate the new time throughout the UK.

Can anybody please advise me how I change the schedule to ensure that it is timed correctly, in line with winter time, and why the change has worked on the thermostat but not the schedule.

I have just managed to fix it. It seems that the schedule is not related to the time on your NEST base unit, your phone or your PC. I wrote down my schedule. I then deleted the existing schedule and created a new one with times required 1 hour ahead of what I want. For a 3.00pm central heating start I programmed it to 4.00pm. To turn off at 10.00pm I schedule it to 11.00pm, and so on. That seems to work.

Our clocks went back one hour. So what used to be 9:00 a.m. would be 8:00 a.m. The thermostat did not turn the heat on on time or an hour early. It turned it on an hour late.

I won’t know if there’s a problem with time changes due to daylight savings time for a few more months. After I called tech support about the time change causing things to be out by an hour they made me reset my thermostats. So today it’s right but that’s not a very efficient approach to deal with changes due to daylight savings time.
