I got the same issue this morning, 3-1-2023. on Nest Thermostat E.

Hello folks,

I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused you all. Let's see what's going on.

On your thermostat, select "Done", "Next," or "Cancel" by tapping the sensor controls on the right side of it. This will allow you to navigate it or learn how to control the thermostat manually. Check out this guide on how it works. Also, please try removing the thermostat display from its base and removing its batteries for at least 3 minutes to restart before plugging them back in.
