Does new Nest Thermostat ($129 version) work with Aux and Emergency Heat (for Heatpump)

I planning to buy the new Nest Thermostat ($129 version…not the learning thermostat) to use for my electric heat pump and have a question I’m hoping someone can help me answer.

Does the new Nest Thermostat work with “Aux” and “Emergency” heat? My current heat pump is hooked up to a Honeywell Thermostat and has the “white” wire connected to the “W2/Aux” terminal. There is also a “jumper” between the “W2/Aux” terminal and the “Y2/E” terminal.

If I buy the new nest thermostat (not the learning model), I’m assuming I’d connect this “white” wire to the “W” terminal. My question is: Will my heat pump’s auxiliary heat come on (when needed) with this connection? Also, is there an option to use “emergency” heat with the new Nest Thermostat with this connection?
