I’m just confused on what you mean for the C wire. Do you mean just get a random wire and strip it on one side and connect it to C and have it capped off on the other end?

@Hondo2410

Your thermostat is compatible with all of the Nest thermostats

Try this wiring,

White - E to W2 or W (set as aux heat)

Yellow - Y to Y1 or Y

Green - G to G

Red - R to Rc or R

Orange - B to OB or */OB

The "or" is for the Google Nest Thermostat.

You must also install a C wire when installing the Google Nest Thermostat. This can be done by using what appears to be a spare wire and connecting it to the C terminal on the thermostat and at the air handler.

I strongly recommend installing a C wire regardless of which thermostat you install

@Hondo2410

A C wire is just like the other wires, but its purpose is to provide constant power to the thermostat.

If there is an unused wire (i.e., spare) at the thermostat, you can connect it to the C terminal on the thermostat and then connect the other end, which is in the furnace/air handler, the C terminal there.

It doesn't look like you have a spare wire at the thermostat, so the best way to create a C wire is to use the Google Nest Power connector mounted in the Furnace/air handler.

This is how you should wire it.

Looks like Brown, black and blue. Could I use one of these? And if I can what one should I use for the “C” port?

Also, I want to thank you a lot for all your help.
Use the blue wire, and you will connect it to the C terminal on the thermostat, and then in the furnace/air handler, you will connect it to the C terminal there.
