Heatlink H71 fault no lights on Heatlink unit

Thermostat showing H71 fault - not linking to Heat Link.

Unit installed through Electric Ireland scheme.

No lights at all on heatlink so impossible to reset, re-pair etc. No heat either as manual operation not possible.

Have tried all options on help sites - unit is powered as I have tested it and connected to neon switched fused outlet.

This unit is in my holiday house in RoI.

My other Nest unit at home in NI failed with exactly same fault H71 showing a month ago and was replaced by google under warranty including paying engineers bill.

Any help would be appreciated.

Where do I contact in RoI to address issue.

Hi I recently had the same problem to apparently there was a bad batch of heat links when I contacted Google they were very helpful and replaced at no cost

Hello @michaelmfg! I'm sorry to hear about this, but I'll do my best to assist you. Could you please respond to the following set of questions and try the additional steps?

Have you recently had service or maintenance on your electrical, plumbing, or heating system?
How many zones are present in your setup? By this we mean how many thermostats you have in that location.
Were there any power outages lately?
Please try pressing on the button of the Heat Link.
