yes the nest will say equipment error. The email said to call you all to replace the unit. The number on the email is not valid.

Gotcha! I wanted to ensure that everything was covered here.

What wiring code or message is shown?
When did you buy the thermostat?
When was the thermostat installed?
Did you add a C-wire or change their wiring after being paired?
When was the device first paired?
Type of HVAC system.
Please share with us a photo of your thermostat's wiring.
Gather its power reading from the equipment settings (VIN, LIN, PS-*).
