Nest E wire compatibility

After successfully installing my Nest on the downstairs unit. I went to install upstairs and it appears the compatibility checker doesn't like the E wire for my system. See pic below. I believe it's a heat pump. The compatibility checker says it's incompatible unless I omit the brown E wire. I'm guessing I could just leave it disconnected and potentially not have backup heat functionality but suspecting there's a better way considering the E wire isn't listed as an incompatibility in the help docs. Any help out there?

Hi Wildcat_Matt,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delay. Your system is compatible with Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Gen. You can follow this wiring: (Y1, G, C, O/B, W2, E, RC).

I got it figured out. I was able to hookup my Nest (non learning) without the E wire and all appears to be working well. I'm not worried about the backup heat function as there is a another gas furnace that would be doing most the work if the heat pump would be struggling.
