Hey drewcolvin,

Thanks for the update. I know it's been a while. I'm sorry for that. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? You can visit this link to check what type of thermostat you have. Has your dehumidifier worked before, or is it the first time you're using it? Also, try to reseat your dehumidifier wire on your thermostat but make sure to turn the breaker off first before touching any wires.

I appreciate your help, @David_K.

Thanks,

I have a dehumidifier installed with my nest thermostat. Everything works, but the dehumidifier continues to run past my set point. For example, the humidity is currently set at 50% and the actual humidity measured by the Nest is 47%, but nest is still telling the dehumidifier to run.

This is causing extra heat in my house, which makes the AC run more. Any advice on how to fix this issue so that the dehumidifier only runs when it needs to? Or is the dehumidifier supposed to run a little past the set point in order to avoid cycling?
