Hello KGZZ,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry. I'd love to know more about this.

Could you please share with us a photo of your previous and current thermostat's wiring? This is to see how you labeled them. Also, check its power readings in the Technical Info settings if you have the Nest Learning Thermostat or the Nest Thermostat E, and the Equipment settings for the Nest Thermostat 2020 model.

I'll look forward to your response.

Regards,

I am changing the old honeywell thermostat to nest, the old thermostat had 2 additional wire which are color black- E wire and color brown - C wire, which I did some research you don't need to plug them. The Nest seems working however the room temperature is not coming down. I had it set at 70, and the room is showing 81 which I think was a mistake to begin with, and it says will be at 70 in 2 hours, but the temperature is not changing at all, so the AC just keep running all night. Any ideas why that is happening? The old thermostat worked fine and it all started when I had this new nest installed.
