Hi MaryLSG,

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear about the situation. Before you tried to reconnect your Nest Temperature Sensor back on the app, did you removed it from the app first? If not, you may try the troubleshooting steps here:

Open the Nest app.

Tap Settings on the home screen.

Select your thermostat.

Choose Manage sensors.

Tap Temperature sensors to get a list of all the temperature sensors in your home. A blue checkmark willappear next to sensors that are already connected to your thermostat.

To attach any available sensors to your thermostat, tap the empty checkbox next to it.

I'll look forward to your response.

Thanks,

My Nest 3rd Gen and sensor worked great together last week. Gone for few days and sensor would not work. Tried reconnecting and it says associated with another account. Reset and re-added the thermostat then tried with censor after taking battery out for 5 minutes. Still same message associated with other account. Thermostat works great
