topic Nest and Reme Halo LED UV Light E104 in Nest Thermostats

I just had a Reme Halo LED UV light installed by an HVAC company. Right away I got an "Equipment detected" prompt on my Nest. I just selected continue and the HVAC has run fine. As the instructions suggest, the UV light is to be wired to power on only when the fan is running. Last night I got a prompt on the app "Error" and E104: Problem with the G wire. If I hit continue the AC starts working again but it has not happened three times in the last 12 hours and did not do this for the four days it was installed and working fine. There seems to possibly be an overcurrent issue and I can not find information on how the wiring should be done to accommodate this.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delay. E104 code will show up if there's an issue with the wiring in your thermostat. You can refer to this support article for the troubleshooting steps. Once done, please let us know if the issue persists.

Best,
