Is my system compatible for Nest? Extra wires.

Hi! Just got my Nest GA01334-US and I’m trying to understand if my home is GA01334-US compatible as the wires coming from my wall have different names than what is shown on my new new name plate. My old thermostat is a Honeywell.

To better check your systems compatibility with the Nest Thermostat, could you please share with us another clear photo of your thermostat's wiring showing how it is labeled? Also, what's the make and model of your HVAC system?

Thanks for getting back to us with the photos. To confirm your heating system, do you have a Heat pump type with Emergency heat or a Conventional heating such as Furnace?

Hello there,

Thanks for confirming. One last thing: do you have access to your heat pump control board? If so, please share with us a picture of how the wires from your thermostat are labeled. This is to see how the two wires are connected in the W2/Aux/E terminal and for what purpose on your current thermostat.
