    <description>&lt;P&gt;My original thermostat has 7 wires connected as shown in the first photo.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've also included a photo of the nest unit. On the left side of the unit I have the wires attached on the right side I think the White wire should go to W1 and the Blue to C - I don't know where to connect the brown wire. (The black was not attached to anything and also was not stripped back.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A guess on my part is the Brown wire is not needed but that is a Wild Guess.
