I no longer use the Nest thermostat on google home, but I get a daily announcement regarding the thermostat being set to eco mode. I want to stop those announcements from my google home speaker

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. I'm sorry for the delay. Were you able to try uninstalling and reinstalling your Google Home app? It might need to be fully updated to reflect the changes that have been made.

Thanks, no luck I am going to re-set my Nest device and set it up again and see if that works.

Sorry, I should clarify that reinstalling the Google Home did work for my primary problem being the unwanted daily announcements. But I am yet to get the Nest to work with Google Home.
