The problem continues. For now the electrician disconnected the ac wires in the thermostat to eliminate the chatter. Heating works with no relay box chatter. Hopefully there is a permanent fix with the ac and heating wires connected to the thermostat and no relay box chatter. It is just when they connect the ac wires that the relay box starts chattering. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nest 3rd gen learning thermostats recently installed. C wire present and working. Rapid chatter on the relay panel. Chatter on the relay panel goes away when AC is disconnected. AC and Heating equipment recently serviced. What is the issue?

Hey satya99,

I am sorry to hear you are only having the trouble when the AC wires are connected.

Sorry for the late response here as we are working through a backlog.

If you’re still having issues with this, I would suggest contacting a pro to come out to help you with this or getting in touch with an electrician as we are unable to help with this complicated of an issue.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns as I'm happy to help.

Best regards,
