The Nest to include the picture of how the wiring were is as is when we purchased the home.

Interesting. Can you post a picture of the terminal block on the control board in the furnace?

The green wire being connected to the Y2 terminal might be a problem

Can't get to the control board this evening. But the unit was working according to its usage history, but it's stuck in Cool Stage 2 now. We don't recall seeing this previously.

Hi there,

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. It seems like the reason why your AC isn't kicking on is because you don't have a wire for the fan (G). Could you please move the green wire from Y2 terminal to the G terminal? Make sure to turn off the breaker first before touching the wires.
